Dr. Skevas attended Hofstra University where he earned a Bachelors degree in Biology in 2015. After completing his D.D.S. at the University at Buffalo in 2021, Dr. Skevas completed his residency at Woodhull Medical Center. As a former St. Francis Hospital volunteer, he is delighted to be with us as an assistant attending at our St. Francis Hospital Office. He is a member of the American Dental Association and New York State Dental Association. He currently lives in Queens and takes an interest in watchmaking and cooking.

Hygienists:

Sharon Hirschhorn has been a dental hygienist since 1980 and has been with this practice for the last 14 years.  Sharon aims to build lasting relationships with her patients through a healthy dose of social interaction mixed with oral health education.  On a personal note, Sharon's passion is her husband, children and dog.

Jacqueline Tomlinson has been a member of The North Shore Center for Comprehensive Dentistry hygiene team since 2005.  Jackie was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica and moved to the United States in 1983.  She obtained her Dental Hygiene Degree at SUNY Farmingdale and was awarded the Golden Scaler Award.  She considers her wonderful husband and beautiful daughter a blessing.  When Jackie is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and practicing her faith.  Education and building a relationship with her patients are important to her in providing good oral heath.

   Dr. Mendocha attended Washington & Lee University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Biology in 1999.  After completing her D.D.S. at Stony Brook in 2003, Dr. Mendocha completed residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and there was distinguished as Chief Resident.  Dr. Mendocha is also an assistant attending at St. Francis Hospital.  She is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society.  She resides in Garden City with her husband and three daughters.


  

   Dr. Sheehan attended St. John's University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1981. After completing his D.M.D. at Fairleigh Dickinson in 1985, Dr. Sheehan completed his residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he is currently an attending.  Dr. Sheehan has been the Chief of the Division of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at St. Francis Hospital for over twenty years.  He has been in practice at both the St. Francis and Northern Boulevard locations since 1986.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, and the Staff Societies of St. Francis Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.  He resides in Port Washington with his wife, and four daughters.
